Alison Kraig earned her bachelor’s degree in neuroscience from Ohio State University. She then earned her master’s degree in Nursing from the Graduate Entry program at Ohio State University. She was selected for the Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner specialty award at her graduation.
Alison brings valuable experience to Pediatric Associates of Montgomery County. During her educational program she worked at a pediatric urgent care as a triage nurse.
Alison is very passionate about health promotion and disease prevention. Her interests include obesity prevention and nutrition. She authored and published a book during her master’s program called “How Will I Play Today”. It is about different ways for children to play and be active.
Alison is certified through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. She is a member of Sigma Tau Theta nursing honor society and the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. In her free time, she loves watching movies, reading, running, and traveling.
