Ivy Sue Masserman, MD, FAAP
Dr. Masserman earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Genetics from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, and her Doctor of Medicine degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine. She continued her training with a Pediatric Residency at the University of South Florida Affiliated Hospitals, in Tampa, followed by a Pediatric Residency at the Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York. Dr. Masserman then went on to complete 1 year of Medical Genetics at the University of California at San Francisco.
Board certified in Pediatrics, Dr. Masserman has been in practice at Pediatric Associates of Montgomery County since September 1992. She currently holds privileges at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in Rockville, Maryland. Dr. Masserman’s extensive medical experience includes having served as Chief of Pediatrics at the Rutgers Community Health Plan’s Somerset, New Jersey branch. Dr. Masserman is a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners, as well as a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Masserman has two grown sons and enjoys a variety of outdoor activities.
