Dr. Debbie Engel earned her Bachelor of Science degree magna cum laude from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana, and her Master of Public Health degree from the Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. She continued her training with a Pediatric Internship and Residency at the Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
Board certified in Pediatrics, Dr. Engel has served as a Primary Care Physician at Pediatric Associates of Montgomery County since 2005.
She maintains affiliation with both Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, Maryland, and Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in Rockville, Maryland. Active in professional organizations, she is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. In her free time, Dr. Engel enjoys outdoor activities, reading and spending time with her family.
