Office Policies

Our regular office hours are 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, at all four locations. Office visits, including well-child checkups and sick visits, are available by appointment only.

To schedule an appointment, please call our office beginning at 8:00 a.m. each morning. You may also send us a message through the patient portal, and a member of our team will call you back. Weekday appointments can be scheduled at any of our four locations.

We also offer Saturday morning appointments at our Wheaton office from 8:00 a.m.–11:30 a.m. by appointment. If your child is sick, please call the Wheaton office at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday to schedule a visit. A limited number of well-child checkup appointments are also available during Saturday morning hours.

We ask that families provide at least 24-hours notice when cancelling an appointment. Appointments that are missed or cancelled with less than 24-hours notice may be subject to a missed-appointment fee. Families who repeatedly miss appointments without providing adequate notice may be discharged from the practice.

We accept most major insurance plans. Please call to make an appointment.

One way that our practice provides personalized care is by having Physicians and Nurse Practitioners return all advice calls during office hours. We do not typically charge for these daytime calls, but we reserve the right to charge for calls that take more time and/or expertise.

When the office is closed, we partner with a company called Hello Pediatrics. This company provides phone advice with a nurse or alternatively provides a telemedicine appointment with a physician. There is a $20 charge for phone advice after hours. If your child needs a telemedicine appointment after hours, Hello Pediatrics will provide this and also collect your insurance information and submit the claim. Alternatively, if you have a non-urgent question for one of our providers, you can message us through the patient portal and messages will be returned during office hours. You can also call during office hours.

• Eligibility for Form Completion: School forms can be completed as long as your child has had a physical exam within the last year.
• Fees for Form Processing: The processing fee for 1 form is $15 per patient.
• Additional forms for the same patient on the same day will incur a fee of $5 per form.
• Expedited Forms: If forms need to be expedited, an additional $25 fee will apply.
• Processing Time: Forms brought in during the physical exam appointment will generally be completed on that same day.
• Forms submitted at other times may take up to 1 week for processing.

We accept Cash, Check and Charge and will collect your co-payment at the time of your office visit. Payment for deductibles, which is determined after the claim is processed through insurance, is required within 30 days of billing. For patients with high deductible insurance plans, arrangements can be made for payment with our billing office. Also, for high deductible plans, we require a minimum payment or credit card on file on the day of the office visit. Lastly, we would like to let you know that additional fees will be applied to office visits completed after 5PM as well as those on Saturdays and Federal Holidays as permitted by the American Medical Association coding guidelines.
