Dr. Henry Sakai earned both his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. He continued his training with a Pediatric Internship and Residency at Duke Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina.
Board certified in Pediatrics, Dr. Sakai is affiliated with Holy Cross Hospital in Germantown, where he serves on the Medical Staff Leadership Committee. He is also affiliated with Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, where he has served as Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics and on the Medical Executive Committee.
The recipient of many honors and awards throughout his career, Dr. Sakai has been recognized by the Washingtonian as a Top Doctor. In his free time, Dr. Sakai enjoys activities with his children, fine dining and attending local sporting events.
