Katherine Carrera is a distinguished professional who holds a Bachelor's degree in Biological Science with honors from the University of Maryland, College Park. Subsequently, she pursued her nursing education and achieved a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Boston College, Boston, where she graduated with honors and was recognized as a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
Katherine has undergone comprehensive training, including rotations at the Family Health Center in Worcester and Roslindale Pediatrics in West Roxbury. She has further specialized in Genetic and Neurology training at Boston Children's Hospital, Boston.
Board-certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board, Katherine brings her expertise to Pediatric Associates of Montgomery County since December 2023. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she is committed to providing comprehensive care to a diverse patient population.
