When do Kids and Teens Need a Travel Visit?
When traveling abroad, individuals may be exposed to certain viruses, bacteria, or parasites that they would not have come into contact with at home. Because of this, it is important to prepare for a trip with a visit to the physician. Depending on the destination, there are often different vaccinations or medications recommended. We will also discuss general guidance for staying healthy while abroad. Of note, we have most travel vaccines available in our office and can refer out for any others.
