We also have extended hours at our Wheaton office on Saturday from 8:00 am-11:30am by appointment. Please call at 8:00 am on Saturday to make an appointment if your child is sick. During the Saturday morning hours we also have a limited number of checkup slots.

Regular phone hours are 8:00 am-12:00pm and 1:00pm-5:00pm Monday through Friday and Saturday morning from 8:00am-11:30 am Families are able to make an appointment in any of our 4 offices by phone, or if preferred, families can send us a portal message and we will call back.

We do ask that families give us 24 hours notice for any appointment cancellation. Missed appointments that are not cancelled 24 hours in advance will be charged a fee. Families that do not show up for multiple appointments without cancelling will be discharged from the practice.

Insurance

We accept most major insurance plans. Please call to make an appointment.

Telephone Advice

One way that our practice provides personalized care is by having Physicians and Nurse Practitioners return all advice calls during office hours. We do not typically charge for these daytime calls, but we reserve the right to charge for calls that take more time and/or expertise.

When the office is closed, there is an “On-Call” physician to provide advice in the evenings and throughout the weekend. Additionally, our practice utilizes a nurse triage service for advice during late evening hours on weekdays (10 pm at night until 8:30 am the following morning) and on weekends (6 pm until 8:30 am). A $20 charge is submitted to your insurance for after-hours phone call advice. Alternatively, if you have a non-urgent question for a provider, you can message us through the patient portal (responses are during office hours).

If you have questions about our policy, please contact our billing office at 301-942-4384.

School Forms

We can complete school forms as long as your child has had a physical exam within the last year. We charge a $10 processing fee for all forms. Forms brought in during the physical exam appointment will generally be done on that day. Forms brought in at other times may take up to 1 week for processing.

Payments

We accept Cash, Check and Charge and will collect your co-payment at the time of your office visit. Payment for deductibles, which is determined after the claim is processed through insurance, is required within 30 days of billing. For patients with high deductible insurance plans, arrangements can be made for payment with our billing office. Also, for high deductible plans, we require a minimum payment or credit card on file on the day of the office visit. Lastly, we would like to let you know that additional fees will be applied to office visits completed after 5PM as well as those on Saturdays and Federal Holidays as permitted by the American Medical Association coding guidelines.
